The League fee will be per team. League fee is used for Equipment, Field insurance, Umpire fee.
> Rules:
> 1. All players must wear cleats shoes. (metal cleats are not permitted)
>2. Each team must start the game with the minimum of 8 players. (10 players are required to be in position) Under 8 players will be considered a forfeit.
Once the game is declared a forfeit, A
scrimmage game can be played by both teams.
>3. If a team starts a game with 8 players, they may add players to the bottom of the batting order as team members arrive.
>4. If only 8 players are available to play. An automatic out will be given to the team for the 9Th batter.
>5. Field changes can take place during the game. The substitute player will take the batting place of the player coming out of the game.
>6. A batting line up should be given to the opposing team before each game. All team players are allowed to be in the batting order. (This is an option)
>7. Each game will be 7 innings. Once 5 innings have been played, it will then constitute as an "official" game.
>8. Courtesy runners are allowed for injured players. The courtesy runner should be the last player that made an out. (two runners per inning)
>9. All runners must stay on the bag until the ball has crossed the plate. Leaving the bag before the ball crosses the plate will result as an out.
>10. An additional base will be placed at first base and home plate. This will help avoid a collision by the runner and player. >11. No stealing Bases.
>12. (out of play) overthrown balls can advance a runner by 1 base. If it is still in play. The runner can advance to all bases
available.
>13. A runner must touch all bases. If a base is missed the runner can be called out.
>14. If a game is postponed because of rain or etc. (while it is in progress) it will be resumed at the point where it was stopped.
>15. All players must play at least 50% of the games to be eligible for playoffs. All teams make the playoffs.
>16. Each game starts with a prayer and ends with a prayer. One player
from each team, will open and close the game in prayer. This can be done by a coin toss.
Specifications: All bats should be SINGLE WALL ALUMINUM Bats. (or ASA approved) Double walled bats are NOT
permitted. Balls will be provided by
MFCSL. A team roster should be given to the league before the second game has been played. Keep in mind. This is
our fourth year of coming together. Some mistakes may occur. Yet, we will correct them for years to come. More information will come as we go along. I just want to thank each and every one of you for taking the time and seeing the fun of men getting together in fellowship and unity.
